From Prompt to Polish: Grammar Patterns That "Mean" Something Online

Grammar choices shape how readers understand relationships, emphasis, and meaning. In this workshop, students will examine useful patterns in academic writing and practice making sentence-level choices that clarify their ideas without treating one dialect or language background as the only correct way to communicate. This workshop will not be recorded.

From Prompt to Polish is an 8-week writing workshop series that follows the writing process from understanding an assignment through revising and using feedback. Each workshop focuses on a practical strategy students can apply immediately to current coursework. Students may attend individual sessions or follow the full series.
