From Prompt to Polish: Discussing the Discussion Post Online
Discussion posts ask students to balance course concepts, their own thinking, and meaningful interaction with classmates. In this workshop, students will learn how to respond directly to the prompt, develop a substantive post, and write replies that move the conversation forward. This workshop will not be recorded.
From Prompt to Polish is an 8-week writing workshop series that follows the writing process from understanding an assignment through revising and using feedback. Each workshop focuses on a practical strategy students can apply immediately to current coursework. Students may attend individual sessions or follow the full series.
