SUMMARY:Systems and Contextual Foundations of Clinical Supervision
DESCRIPTION:This training examines the complex cultural\, organizational\, 
 and systemic factors that shape the supervision process in behavioral 
 health and related helping professions. Participants will explore how 
 agency policies\, regulatory requirements\, professional standards\, 
 identity differences\, and broader social systems influence supervisory 
 relationships\, decision-making\, and professional development. Emphasis is 
 placed on understanding supervision as a dynamic process that occurs within 
 multiple intersecting contexts.\n\nDrawing from multicultural\, feminist\, 
 and systems-based frameworks\, participants will develop competencies for 
 addressing power dynamics\, cultural influences\, implicit bias\, 
 privilege\, oppression\, and social context within supervisory 
 interactions. The program encourages critical self-reflection and cultural 
 humility while providing practical strategies for fostering equitable\, 
 inclusive\, and culturally responsive supervision practices.\n\nUsing a 
 systems-oriented lens\, participants will learn to conceptualize clinical 
 and supervisory challenges by considering the interactions among 
 individuals\, organizations\, communities\, and professional systems. 
 Through case analysis\, discussion\, and applied exercises\, participants 
 will examine ethical dilemmas\, role conflicts\, and complex supervision 
 scenarios\, strengthening their ability to navigate supervisory 
 responsibilities with cultural responsiveness\, ethical integrity\, and
