Statistics Bootcamp Module 3: T-tests Online
In this module, we will cover t-tests - statistical procedures used to compare the means of two sample groups.
We will go over Part III (Chapters 9-12) in Essentials of Statistics for the Behavioral Sciences in this module. At the end of this unit, you should be able to define:
- Dependent vs. independent variable
- Types of t-tests (single sample, independent sample, repeated measures, paired sample)
- Standard error, variance, and standard deviation
- Effect size (Cohen's d, r squared)
- Degrees of freedom
- Statistical significance
