Executive Skills and Academic Success: Part 4 Online

Session 4--Emotional Control & Stress Tolerance

In the final session of our four-part series based on the book Smart But Scattered Guide to Success, we will focus on tolerating stress, maintaining control of emotions, and building flexibility to support our academic goals. In this session, we will discuss techniques to manage frustration and anxiety related to academic work, practices to adjust when setbacks occur, and stress-reduction strategies. We will also do an activity to plan the integration of all the executive skills we have learned about in the series. You will leave this session with coping strategies and support to stay resilient and build habits for academic success.
