Beyond Staring at the Page: Critical Reading Strategies Online
In this interactive online session, participants will reflect on their current reading loads, challenges, and strategies and add new ways of approaching academic reading to their academic toolboxes. We will focus on how to read with questions in mind and how to bring your current syllabus, research proposal, or general interests to the process. We'll also introduce our Show Up and Read groups to help you set aside dedicated time for creating effective reading habits. This is a great session to attend after the research methods session the Library is offering or to just refresh the way you're approaching your reading.
