This session aims to teach students best practices for data analysis and data cleaning, including picking the best test to answer research questions.

Presenter:  Dr. Grant Canipe & Dr. Thomas Jackson

Dr. Thomas Jackson is a leading bioinformatics researcher dedicated to uncovering connections between complex molecular datasets and real-world health outcomes. He earned his Ph.D. in Toxicology from North Carolina State University and now serves as a Principal Investigator at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Driven by a passion for data management and research integrity, Dr. Jackson enjoys mentoring students and sharing best practices that enhance data quality and reproducibility.
