Using the ACT Matrix to Address Employee Performance and Other Organizational Challenges in ABA Settings Online

The ACT Matrix is a simplified, visual approach to fostering psychological flexibility that has been successfully applied across an extraordinary range of settings. This training introduces the Matrix as a versatile tool to be used to address employee performance challenges within ABA settings by organizing behavior in terms of what truly matters to a person (values) and what gets in the way. Participants will learn the six core processes of Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) and how they connect to the four-quadrant model, explore case examples of its application across diverse contexts, and practice using the Matrix to conceptualize client, staff, or personal challenges. The session emphasizes the Matrix’s low-burden, high-impact design, requiring minimal time to learn and implement while producing durable shifts in values-based action.
